To all our friends at Missionary Resources,

Lois and I would like to thank you for your ministry in our lives.

As we approached our recent furlough and planned on settling in Columbia, we were very encouraged to discover that a group like Missionary Resources existed.

And you have lived up to your name!

We have been loved and served in a multitude of ways and have been refreshed by you.

First, we needed a car and were put in touch with a missionary returning to the field and shortly had that need met.

Then, we needed a doctor and a gynecologist. What a blessing to be directed to people who take a personal interest in their patients. Just finding a doctor is sometime a daunting task, to find people who love Christ and loved and respected us and joyfully ministered to us was an amazing source of refreshment.

We were also directed to terrific counselors who ministered to our family.

Then Lois was longing for a group of ladies to fellowship with and found a group of kinsmen in the Ladies Bible Study group.

Our son and daughter attended Reentry Retreat and were encouraged and supported.

We knew we had a source of information, care, supply.

Wow! We are very glad Columbia is our furlough home and you all are doing the things you are doing!

We return to our field this evening and our prayer on departure will include thanksgiving to God for His provision through you good folk.
