Ministering to Missionary Kids (MKs) and Third Culture Kids (TCKs)

The MK/TCK Re-Entry Retreat is designed for MKs or TCKs who are seniors in high school or college age.  It's goal is to provide helpful tools which prepare for transition into American life and college. The retreat serves as an opportunity to learn and grow with those who are undergoing similar experiences and facing similar issues, and to have a fun time! Come and join us at our 2012 retreat!!

What have previous participants said about the retreat?

“I learned a lot about myself and who I am as a TCK. Being able to talk to people who really want to listen helped me see more about myself."

"It's OK to be mad, sad, lonely, etc. but the way you handle it can make or break your experience."

“I learned how not to be afraid to be vulnerable with people.”

"I've learned how to let out my sorrow."

"To really lean on God no matter what and to give an effort to be involved in your community."

"That you can't just turn grief off when you get tired of it. You actually need to work through it to be healed."

“The biggest thing I learned this week was that it is okay to be real with people. I was able to open up not only to people who cared but to people who could partly understand because of their similar experience. Thank you!”
