Ministering to Missionary Kids (MKs)

The MK Re-Entry Retreat is designed for MKs or Third Culture Kids (TCKs) who are seniors in high school or college age.  Its goal is to provide helpful tools which prepare for transition into American life and college. The retreat serves as an opportunity to learn and grow with those who are undergoing similar experiences and facing similar issues, and to have a fun time! Come and join us at our 2009 retreat!!

What have previous participants said about the retreat?

“I think it was just good for me to realize for real how many other MK's are going through the same stuff I am.”

“I really enjoyed this camp--so much more than I thought--the relationships alone that were built here made it all worthwhile, but I also gained a lot of cultural knowledge and insight. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart.”

“I learned that even though it it going to be hard going to college, that God is really going to be there for me and I can just pour out my heart to Him.”

“I learned how not to be afraid to be vulnerable with people.”

“I had an incredible time! God definitely sent me at the exact time I needed it most. I couldn't have asked for better counselors or such great teachers. Thank you so much! You've truly changed my life!”

“I learned that I'm not alone in feelings about transition, etc. and putting words to my subconscious thoughts/feelings.”

“God's will is not a target that if you miss you mess up your whole life, it's more of being who God wants you to be.”
